After years of experience in the field of mental health, Roots Wellness Center also serves as a training and internship center for psychology students and trainee psychotherapists.
Training, seminars, and sessions conducted by Roots Wellness Center students take place at our office in Kallithea, by appointment and prior arrangement.
Student training covers the full range of counseling and psychotherapy theory and internship through:
- Individual supervisions
- Group supervisions
- Educational programs / seminars / webinars
- Experiential seminars & groups
- Provision of educational and informational material, books, etc.
- Guidance on writing research papers
- Opportunity for personal therapy at a lower cost
The therapists at Roots Wellness Center, through the integrative psychotherapy approach, fully undertake the training of students and new mental health professionals who wish to lay strong foundations for their careers. Through supervision and seminars, our students are trained, enrich their knowledge and skills, discuss the difficulties they face, and prepare for excellent and professional performance.
Throughout the year, as part of the internship program, graduate mental health students provide free services through individual sessions or psychotherapy and counseling groups.
